Master Open

Ausschreibung des Meister-Opens in tabellarischer Form
Rules and time control	Open for all chess players with an Elo rating of 1900 and more 9 rounds Swiss-System, FIDE-rules 100 minutes for 40 moves followed by 50 minutes for 20 moves, then 15 minutes for the remaining moves with 30 seconds cumulative increment for each move starting from first move (the time control has been changed according to the new FIDE title regulations)
Rating	FIDE Elo, Swiss Elo and DWZ (German Elo)
Entry fee	CHF 170 (GM, WGM, IM and WIM free) CHF 100 for FMs CHF 80 for junior players (U18)
Prizes	1. 2’000 2. 1’500 3. 1’000 4. 800 5. 600 6. 400 7. 300 8. 200 9. /10. je 100, attributed according to Hort-System. Best female player, best junior (U18), best veteran, best player up to 2200: CHF 100 Prizes are not to cumulate. The prizes are guaranteed when the number of participants in the two opens exceeds 100.

International Open

Ausschreibung des Internationalen Opens in tabellarischer Form
Rules and time control	Open for all chess players with an Elo rating of 2000 and less 9 rounds Swiss-System, FIDE-rules 100 minutes for 40 moves followed by 50 minutes for 20 moves, then 15 minutes for the remaining moves with 30 seconds cumulative increment for each move starting from first move (the time control has been changed according to the new FIDE title regulations)

Entry fee	CHF 150 CHF 80 for junior players (U18)
Prizes	1. CHF 1'000, 2. CHF 600, 3. CHF 400, 4. CHF 300, 5./6. CHF 200 each, 7.-10. CHF 100 each, attributed according to Hort-System. Best female player, best junior player (U18), best veteran player, best player with Elo up to 1600 and 1800: CHF 100 each

Youth open (U18)

Rules and time control	Open for all juniors until year of birth 1991 7 rounds Swiss-System, FIDE-rules 90 minutes plus 30 seconds per move
Rating	Swiss Elo
Entry fee	CHF 40
Prizes	1. CHF 150, 2. CHF 100, 3. CHF 50 (according to Hort-System) Prizes in kind for all other players
Attendance control	Saturday, October 3^rd 2009, 11:00h till 12:45h

Single blitz

Ausschreibung des Einzelblitzturniers in tabellarischer Form
Rules and time control	9 rounds Swiss-System 5 minutes per player and game
Entry fee	CHF 20
Prizes	1. price CHF 400, further price money The best player from Winterthur is town champion 2008.
Match application	Saturday, October 3^rd 2009 until 19:30h

Team blitz

Ausschreibung des Mannschaftsblitzturniers in tabellarischer Form
Rules and time control	A maximum of 11 rounds Swiss-System, 5 minutes per player and game, one team consists of four players. GM/IM and players with 2300 elo and more have to play on the first board.
Entry fee	CHF 20 per player (or CHF 80 per team)
Prizes	1. Price CHF 400, further price money
Match application	Thursday, October 8^th 2008 until 19:30h Single players will be formed to a team by the competition organiser.
